Cleaning Oceanside

As you guys all know I love the story of Nehemiah. It tells how he rebuilds the city of Jerusalem. One of the points I really like best is when he talks about how everybody comes and stands alongside of him.

Tomorrow, we at Convicted4Christ will have many people standing alongside us as we clean the city of Oceanside.

We will be joined by our neighbors without houses here in Oceanside as we attack a few troubled areas in our city.

We will be putting into effect an idea that a fellow by the name Brian Trotier came up with. We are going to pay our neighbors without houses a flat rate per bag for every bag of trash they turn into us.

Standing alongside me as we do this will be Humanity Showers, Jordan will help supervise. Garden 31 Community Initiative, They will be providing the trailers that will be transporting the trash to the dump. They will also be providing the transportation. In addition some folks from Oceanside Homeless Resources will be joining us. Last but not the least, the people from Modern West whose generosity has made this all possible. In fact, they have made many things possible.

I would also like to thank the Lucky Duck Foundation Foundation who with Brian Trottier have walked me through this. Lucky Duck Mike Martin West has made many things possible.

I believe that in all of us joining together we are demonstrating what the body of Christ looks like. Together we can do miraculous things. I hope that this brings a different light to the population we are supporting.

Most importantly at Convicted4Christ we do all that we do with the hopes that we will create encounters that lead to prayer which brings about relationships that transform lives.
